WHEN AN UNLIKELY SUITOR....

The Earl of Stokeford is hardly a man of amiable disposition and social graces. He scowls whenever he pleases, becomes rude at any time convenient for him, and worse, has a regrettable tendency to scare ladies out of their wits. Therefore, it is a most astonishing thing indeed when, upon laying eyes on the beautiful Miss Sophie Winscott, he decides to embark on a courtship... Except, of course, the hapless peer knows nothing in the matters of romance...until he receives help from an unlikely quarter.

MEETS AN EAGER MATCHMAKER

Then enter Miss Winscott's cousin, the vivacious Caroline Davis, who oddly gets along well with the slightly waspish Earl. Determined to help, Caroline endeavours to make a match of the two. But for all her enthusiasm, she can't help but be drawn to the troubled lord... and things start to get a little tangled from there.

Toast of the Season by MissCrystalSnow92
40 parts Complete
Edmund Westworth (26), the third Earl of Beaumont, and the most eligible bachelor in London, unknowingly started a tradition he now regrets. At age twenty-two he danced the first dance at the season opening ball at Almack's with a young lady who became the toast of the season. The next year he did the same. Every year since, he has danced one dance, to fulfill his mother's requirement. And every year his dance partner becomes the most sought after girl of the season. Some think he has a gift, Edmund thinks he could pick any girl and 'the ton' would deem her desirable based on his dance alone. His friends disagree and bet him 100£ to choose a dance partner who couldn't possibly entice the gentlemen of London. When her father suddenly passes away, Elizabeth Cavendish (20) has to move in with her aunt's family. With the estate entailed, Elizabeth needs to find a husband quickly or her aunt will install her into a governess or lady's companion position, which would severely hinder Beth's ability to work on her scientific experiments. Garbed in her cousin's horrific dresses from last season, she only has a few weeks to find a husband before she is doomed to tedious work for the rest of her life. She finds an unlikely accomplice in the Earl of Beaumont. Please don't copy any part of my story in any form (including Youtube) without my permission. 22 parts Complete Mature

As the eldest, Viscount Anthony Bridgerton has long accepted his duty to marry-yet has vowed to avoid the trap of love. Cynical about romance and burdened by expectations, he is certain he can fulfill his role without ever losing his heart. Enter Miss Clara Everly: intelligent, fiercely independent, and utterly unimpressed by his title or reputation. A woman who defies the conventions of the ton, Clara would rather lose herself in books than in a gentleman's empty promises. When the two meet, she sees past his charm, challenging him in ways no other woman has dared. Their minds spark like kindling, igniting a connection that's as exhilarating as it is unexpected. But as they match wits, Anthony finds himself drawn to more than her beauty-he is captivated by her intellect, her laughter, her guarded warmth. With his heart on the line, he faces a new challenge: to convince the woman who trusts in little that she can trust in him. *I do not own any rights to the Bridgerton franchise or characters*
