Mia always Skates in secret. Her mum doesn't even know that she does it and Mia hopes to keep it that way. If her mum found out she would do everything possible to ruin that for Mia. Why, you may ask? Well... Mia's dad, younger sister and older brother all died in a car accident and she was in it too... Mia was the only one to survive and she hates herself for it. As well as her mother.
After their death her mum turned to drugs and alcohol. She beats up Mia almost every day. Every morning she has to cover up all the bruises, scarrs and cuts, but she doesn't need to try hard because no one ever pays attention to her (unless they're bullying her).
So when 5 new guys come to Mia's school and just happens to see her in the abandoned skate park she always rides at, it's only then that they spot all of the marks on her skin that remind them of... scarrs?? They do everything possible to push past her very thick and very high walls that she has built up and Mia only has two options... 1. Let them in and tell him everything or... 2. Push them away.
