Tina Goldstein's life returned to normal after the Grindlewald incident. Madame Picquery had reinstated her Auror position and beasts were no longer running loose across the New York Streets for No-Maj's to see...except she now had a son.
Credence Barebone never expected to be loved. After MACUSA exploded him for the good of the city, the small good of him floated away, only to reform. He lived on the streets, cowering and fearful of everyone and everything. He ate very little, until Tina found him beat by some other homeless youths.
They now live with Queenie as his adoptive (and spoiling) aunt. The only trouble they have to deal with are the Goldstein's landlady.

Newt's travel ban was not in place until after his book was published and he was able to visit Tina in New York before then. They become close, very close, but then, when Newt isn't allowed to leave the country, he is unable to explain the mistake in an article about him.
