Hello People of Wattpad :) Lilli here. This is my first story. I'm trying to get it noticed to see if people like it. Comment on chapter one and the introduction and tell what you think. Silver davis's father left on the day of her little brother, Krue's birth just over two years ago. Ever since that day, Silver, her mother Ahna, and 2 year Krue, have been on the run from an unknown danger that Ahna will not reveal. They've lived in various parts of the country , and they move at least once a year. Silver never questioned it until one mysterious day in a town called Drysdale, Pennsylvania, she finds her house completely ransacked with only a note left in Krue's cheap, portable crib. The note contains a terrifying message and a phone number on the bottom. It doesn't take long for Silver to discover that her family was kidnapped Through a series of different phone calls with her family's captor, and with the help of both old, and new friends, Silver discovers the secret as to why her family was taken, and what she can do to save them. Follow Silver as she uncovers the secrets of a magical past in her family, experiences romance for the first time, and discovers her place in the world. Welcome to "Mist of the Forest"

What if humans lived alongside witches, vampires, fey, and werewolves? Yeah, they don't though. They're divided into Factiones (no, that isn't a typo, go away Grammarly) by a starburst mountain range that is actually new, relative to the rest of the geology. Then someone dies. Of course. Not original is it? I suppose there's a good reason it always starts with someone dying. Well, being murdered in this particular case. I know, also not very original. But please, bear with me. Basically, the people in power are insane and dangerous. (There are really too many clichés here, aren't there?) And our not-so-normal band of motley heroes have to stop these crazy people. I understand that this is more or less the same plot line as 17% (minimum) of all books on the planet, but seriously, if you want to have a 12-year-old (almost) burn down/melt half a castle, this is your book. Be patient though, because it might take you a bit to get there. Enjoy! 1st completed book!!!!!! (I haven't edited it yet though, so if it seems a little rough it's normal. I'm having it proof-read and edited, but it might take a while before the updated versions are available to be published here.)
