In the small town of Boydton, there once was a normal 16 year-old girl... well, as far as the world could see. She liked to read, watch Broadway musicals and of course, like any other teenager her age, chat to her friends. It was all fun and games in her life, and she was enjoying every second of it.
But what she didn't expect was having her world to turn upside down.
It started in school. A girl who was bullying her and her friends wound up getting hurt. People in her town were 'mysteriously' killed and slaughtered. Then the dreams started. Dreams that seemed too vivid and factual to just be a frequent of her imagination. But what could this mean? As she starts to question the world around her, she is forced to remember events from her childhood, that she'd much rather forget.
But it seemed like this new world was refusing to let that happen.
