A Heart Encased in Stone

Jessie Hughs has a heart made of stone. She knows it, her family knows it, her classmates know it. Hardened when she was a young girl, Jessie has been walking through life without a care in the world. Each day passed by the same, amazingly boring.

Then Jessie starts college. She meets her incredibly crazy roommate and her even crazier boyfriend, a wild pack of varsity jocks, and Seth, who is never completely "there."

Without knowing it, she had began craving something softer in heart, and not knowing why she finds herself longing for the company of this unlikely group who she hopes will finally be able to break away at the stone surrounding her heart.
