Railia forgot who she was.
She forgot if she was a woman.
They forgot if they were human.
It became nothing.
Nothing continued to fall through the darkness.
Nothing hit the ground hard, mind void of thought.

A spark of light glinted faintly, so pale one could barely see it if they weren't looking hard enough.
And in the midst of all the darkness, this light became the only thing to have a name.
