The story begins with a boy born in the Fire Nation. The boy named Yan Long was raised in a noble family, but his parents were killed in action by an ambushed from the Earthbending army. He was raised closely with the royals of the Fire Nation as Yan's parents were close friends of both Fire Lord Ozai and General Iroh. Hi! So this continues off of my other stories, but mostly off of my most recent, The South Pole. This describes the group going to Gaoling to visit Toph's parents. Hope you like it! :)))

After their victory at the Northern Water Tribe, the world took its first hopeful breath in a hundred years. The Fire Nation had been stopped - for now - but the war was far from over. The Avatar had returned. But Aang still had much to learn. To master all four elements and restore balance, he would next have to learn earthbending. But more than bending, Aang needs to understand the deepest part of himself: the mysterious, powerful Avatar State. Together with his friends - Katara, Sokka and Sora - Aang sets off into the Earth Kingdom. Their journey would lead them through vast lands and treacherous cities. Along the way, they would meet new allies - and face dangerous enemies determined to stop the Avatar from fulfilling his destiny. I do not own Avatar, the last Airbender and all its characters, except Sora.

This is a fanfiction describing what happened after Katara and Zuko beat Azula, going on forward from then. I didn't make Katara hate Zuko, because I think that they could be really great friends, but there will be NO ZUTARA on my account. Sorry :) (This is focused on Kataang only rn, if you want be to do Maiko and/or Sukka please let me know and I would be more than happy!)

edit: i wrote this when I was 10 or smth so it's extremely cringey 5 years after the war ended the Avatar team are living a normal life. Katara thinks her love for Aang is one sided, but their story is just beginning. This story is mainly about Katara and Aang but he others (Sokka, Suki, Zuko, Toph, Ty lee, Mai and Azula) play a part in it. (There is no Zutara in this story) Hope you enjoy. This specific boring summer afternoon on the said beach you saw her. 5 years after the end of the 100 year war and the defeat of Lord Ozai, Fire Lord Zuko and Avatar Aang have succeeded in producing a plan for the new Republic City, that will become a safe haven for immigrants from all nations that have been displaced by the war. When Zuko receives reports of a group of four bandits stealing from the construction site he calls the Gaang back together to figure out their plan. However, Aang is distracted by one key point in the case: there appears to be an airbender on the team of bandits...is he no longer "The Last Airbender?"
