Cassie Evans is a shy and introverted girl from Georgia. Bullied and emotionally scarred from her past in high school, her sister Jessica ships her off to the beach to have some fun in the sun during the summer. There she meets Ash, an intriguing boy who reminds her of her horrific past. This story is about discovering who your really are and accepting yourself, knowing that you are beautiful no matter the color of your skin or the shape of your body or how you dress.
