What if in the original plot of Purple Rain (the plot from his memoir The Beautiful Ones) Prince doesn't take on the personalities of his mother and father, but instead of Jamie Starr and Camille. Jamie is his destructive egotistical side that loves to drink, while camille is his lustful sexual side, always coming on to another human.
