Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. Gods, supreme beings of immense power, often thought to be all knowing and all powerful. But little do people know, they are often just shadows of what they were portrayed to be. And yes, they do lose their way, quite often, in fact. Caught in a tricky situation between two gods who had been holding a grudge against each other for centuries, Steve has to dive into legends, history and lies in order to find the truth. In a world that the very concepts of right and wrong, good and evil were incredibly blurred, this ordinary Minecrafter faces unknown forces that were at work, and for him, the stakes were higher than he had known in his entire life. The ancient rulers of the world was stirring, and Steve would be caught in between them if they decided to show up. Let's say, he wouldn't fancy meeting them. "Come on now, those so called gods are just superpowered beings. They have fallen, they lose their way, make mistakes, and they aren't necessarily all knowing. So to say, true gods don't even exist in this world." This is a standalone Minecraft short story, with zero connection with the others. I don't own Minecraft and those Minecraftian characters.

For the past five months, rural parts of the world have been breaking out in spontaneous fires. These Mysterious Fires, which no one has been able to identify the cause of, have begun to displace residents of the Deep Forests, who now seek refuge in the nearby city. The city of Stone Towers grants entry to refugees of the Mysterious Fires only if they can prove they are skilled enough to work in one of the city's professional vocations: crafting, farming, mining, or defense. When our main character, Steve the Noob, arrives at the city gates, they don't ask him where he is from. They don't even for his name. They place him in a detainment cell and tell him he will perform his evaluations tomorrow, to prove he is worthy enough to start building a new life, as a servant of the Stone Towers government. Over the next 30 days, Steve the Noob will have to learn new skills to ultimately save the entire city!
