"M-mom! D-dad, no!" I yelled. What I was witnessing was something I never wanted to see. I grabbed my little brothers shoulders and yanked him close to me. I have to at least get him out of here. "C-come on." I whispered, barely being able to keep myself together. 

He didn't move. It was like his feet were glued to the floor, he just wouldn't budge. "Jake, come on!" I kept pulling, but he kept resisting. After what he has just saw, he was traumatized, he lost both parents in a Matter of seconds, but if we don't move, he'll loose me to.

"Carl!" "It had to be done (Y/N)!" I started feeling the tears flood my eyes. I dropped to my knees, dropping my gun and covering my face with my hands. He came over to try to help me up but I pushed him away. "Get away from me! How could you do that?!" I screamed at him through my cries. "(Y/N)..." Still crying I shook my head and started running in another direction still hearing people firing. I wanted to get away. Away from the prison. Carl. Everything. He wouldn't have hurt me if he loved me. I started thinking as I was running. 'What if he's in trouble? What if he needs my help? Would I want to risk my life for the person I thought loved me? Is love really worth dying for?' -Ok! So this book is probably going to be a disaster but this is my first xreader so don't hate. Or if you do try to be nice about it thanks xp This STORY is not fully completed meaning it continues in my other book so the story shall go on! (As you read the storyline and details get better. My fiction will not have anything to do with the story-line of the t.v. show or the comics; it will run parallel at times but Michonne, Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Carol, Maggie etc etc will not exist in my story.* **** "How did this happen? Sighing to myself and kissing both my dogs on the nose, Chandler threw and meat stick away from us "Fetch" I whispered and the dogs crawled out to get the tasty treat. As they drew the walkers away from us, Chandler and I scrambled out from under the car and ran in the opposite in the opposite direction. Chandler pulled out his knife and dug it into the skull of the stray walker that was in front of us, as he did so I could hear my dogs start to snarl and growl at the walkers that were closing in on them. Sticking my fingers in my mouth and letting out a high pitched whistle, my dogs weaved between the walkers and avoided outstretched hands as they joined Chandler and I as we fled into the hills.
