"M-mom! D-dad, no!" I yelled. What I was witnessing was something I never wanted to see. I grabbed my little brothers shoulders and yanked him close to me. I have to at least get him out of here. "C-come on." I whispered, barely being able to keep myself together.
He didn't move. It was like his feet were glued to the floor, he just wouldn't budge. "Jake, come on!" I kept pulling, but he kept resisting. After what he has just saw, he was traumatized, he lost both parents in a Matter of seconds, but if we don't move, he'll loose me to.

All chapters will be atleast 2000 words, but some may be much more than that. My OC becomes the adopted child of Maggie and glenn. The tall, skinny man and young boy with a sheriff's hat, stood in the prison yard staring right back at me; bloody and wounded, basket full of formula in hand, the obvious look of exhaustion washed over me.
