"You want to go somewhere today, Kaoru?"

"Ah, sorry, I was actually going to go out with my girlfriend today...but we can go out tomorrow for sure, Hikaru. I promise."

That conversation had constantly repeated itself ever since Kaoru had gotten his girlfriend and that tomorrow where Hikaru hung out with his brother never really came. Kaoru always wanted to be with his girlfriend, spend time with her and Hikaru understood that, sure he did, but damn. It still hurt and he felt lonely. He wanted to spend time with his brother or at the very least, find love like everybody else seemed to be but that wasn't going to happen.

This year is his second last year at Ouran, which meant he had two more years to find adventure, love and two more years of probably dealing with Kaoru and his girlfriend and being alone in the process, but the start of a new year brings newcomers into the school and with newcomers comes a new matchmaking club known as The Companion Cupid's, people who find love for those in need, run by a first year that goes by the name of Tomoko Hatakeyama.

With loneliness overcoming Hikaru he ends up going to the new club, where a newfound love will try and find Hikaru love that isn't herself.
