Sheila Hanson will never forget second grade. She sees colours in her field of vision whenever a sound is created, and she thinks everybody sees that way. One day when she is asked to do a math problem, she writes her problem in the "correct colours" and gets scolded for it. She never spoke about her colours again, and now she is fifteen, and wants to be a music star. What can she do, when she has synesthesia?

(WARNING: I WROTE THIS STORY WHEN I WAS YOUNGER SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF YOU DONT LIKE IT. IT IS VERY CHEESY AND IM TOO LAZY TO REWRITE IT. Lol, enjoy anyway!) There's no way she would notice me. Ever. I stayed up late studying, she stayed up late hanging with friends. My group of friends were humble and quiet, her group of friends were loud and outgoing. I loved the Internet and laying in my bed, she loved going out and being adventurous I'm white, she's black. There's no way she would ever notice me.
