Lia Roan's your typical country girl. She lives on her family farm in Vermont and trains horses in liberty horsemanship for all disciplines. She's got sweet parents, long summer days on the horizons, and the promise of an amazing horse show coming up. A horse show so prominent that it has the potential to save the ranch from the financial ruin that is always hanging over their heads. Now, she just needs to find a partner to compete with...

Still, even with that, everything is going fine- until it suddenly isn't.

Alex Blairswood is cocky, arrogant and rich- very rich. So rich, in fact, he's being groomed to take over the family business, but there's just one catch: his father wants to make sure he's responsible enough to do so. His grand plan? Sending him to Middle-Of-Nowhere hell hole to clean up. Spotty cell service, a complete lack of anything resembling culture, and a general store that classifies as five star dining is bad enough, but that's not even counting the infuriating girl that lives on the farm. It's going to be one long summer.
