This is an old short story--in fact, I believe it's one of the first I ever wrote. It's some good old fashioned sword and sorcery, folks. Dwarves, elves, magic, monsters... they're all here! Anyway, this little tale was a heck of a lot of fun to write, and reading it again brings back fond memories of a younger, but still extremely nerdy me, so I hope you enjoy!

Sequel to Love Is A Losing Game I could accelerate time so hours pass in minutes. I could slow time down, the world around me coming to a near halt at the blink of an eye. But I did not have the ability to go back in time and mend my mistakes. No, that is something that I had to face like everyone else. With sudden, lingering pangs of regret when I was reminded of what I'd done. With longing glances to the woman I knew needed space when I wanted nothing more than to be close to her. With stinging indents formed on my tongue from holding back everything I wanted to say. That's what everyone did, right? Wait until it's the right time to apologize, to explain my side of the story in the hope that she would understand at the very worst, forgive at the best. But even to someone who had all of the time in the world, it never felt like the right time. But sadly they were both to shy to tell each other. When they first met, they never knew that they would find someone so similar to them. After years of just being friends and before entering college, they go on adventures with Barley, Ian's big brother, to all these places that scream "magic" Nothing stopped these three from having a adventure! After Ian found out he is a wizard and can cast spells. Ameria had become more and more interested in magic aswell as Barley's wizard magic game (Quests of Yore) Ever since Ameria was little her parents banned anything magic/wizard related. In the beginning Ian was always scared to Ameria about his feelings because he thought that she was dating someone else After a few years past, Ian finally confessed to Ameria that he liked her. Ameria was so over-joyed and Ian had never felt more happy in his life. These three would not let anything stand in their way from going onward....
