A short story I wrote based on a prompt inside. These characters do not have names, so feel free to insert your OTP, although if I remember correctly I'd used male pronouns.
It's meant to be sad. Just a disclaimer.

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This book will contain topics of SA, eating disorders, and mature content, if any of these things may bother you in anyway, please scroll! I hope when I finish this book I can public a clean version, with a different perspective leaving out these topics, but for now, this is how i've envisioned this story to go! Enjoy -Ash🌸

My Inspirations
"Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't. I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more. With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!" I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right? I messed up big time, and I'll bear the consequences for it all. I just have one wish though... It's as though I'd have been better off never entering this world in the first place.Complete

When the rain clouds disappear
Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. I mean what could I say to that without spilling my guts to him. Hi! This is a grumpy x sunshine, next door neighbour, he's obsessed with her and she's oblivious to it romcom. Maria had everything she ever needed. but, one fateful day, she loses it all. her lover, her home, her parents....everything. Broken and torn, she goes to America hoping she could try to start over but, an unexpected person intrudes her life and turns upside down and inside out. she struggles even more.
