A short story I wrote based on a prompt inside. These characters do not have names, so feel free to insert your OTP, although if I remember correctly I'd used male pronouns.
It's meant to be sad. Just a disclaimer.

Unwritten Bond
Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her. When the rain clouds disappear
Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. I mean what could I say to that without spilling my guts to him. Hi! This is a grumpy x sunshine, next door neighbour, he's obsessed with her and she's oblivious to it romcom. "Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't. I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more. With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!" I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right?
