There is a place, beyond the charted world. A land that lays beyond the Great Deserts and Ocean of Monsters. It appeared from nothing, and draws men, woman, and rulers from across the realm. Whether they seek treasure, fame, conquest, or adventure, kingdoms rally, setting sail for the Dark Continent - The Land That Came From Nothing.

The caveat?

It is said that on this land, their are people "out of time". Humans who hail from a world unknown; who capture lightning in bulbs, and listen to voices through little boxes. Their buildings rise higher than any tower the realm has ever bore, and their weaponry can pierce shields from afar. And those who pioneered the voyage have came back touched by madness, or simply never came back at all.

But that doesn't stop a mix-matched band of determined heroes, knights, and sellswords from setting out towards this very land. And what they might find their, past the oceans of abandoned vessels and. is a secret kept away from even the gods themselves.

Ever So Lightly- Book 1 by paisleypikachu
51 parts Complete
{COMPLETED} The stars disappeared seventeen years ago. A black night sky has mirrored a bleak existence for the people of Auros. The Gifted, humans with unique abilities to affect the world around them, have all but become extinct thanks to the dark reign of a usurper. And somehow Zephyr Elvy has managed to live her nineteen years in the blissful quiet of a small town next to the sea. Zephyr has always been content to keep to herself, and happy to live a simple, if uneventful, life. If only the universe had that in mind for her. Forced to flee the only place she has ever called home, Zephyr finds herself running through a world she has only ever read about, along with two soldiers who have deserted their posts to keep their consciences clean. With only a letter and a mysterious weapon as clues to why she's being hunted, Zephyr must face her own fears while discovering a whole new world of terrors at the hands of a queen she knows next to nothing about. Having never risked anything her entire life, Zephyr is forced to choose between apathy or action, hiding and keeping to herself, as she has always done, or taking a leap that could change the world she is just now getting to see. ***** Thank you SO MUCH for reading! I'm updating every Monday until this story is done, and I've been sitting on this one for almost three years so I'm really excited to finish it! I don't have any beta readers for this as I write, so please let me know if you notice anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that needs fixing! :)

Lost

24 parts Ongoing

The experiments unfolded, scattering like fragile shards across the endless islands, their edges softened by time yet never truly lost. Memories unraveled like threads caught in the wind, slipping through grasping fingers, dissolving into nameless tides. And still, one cannot help but wonder-did they ever truly seek to reclaim them? Or were they meant to drift, untethered, between what was and what could have been? In this boundless sea, they remain-specters of something half-remembered, untouched by death, at least for now. But the past is never silent, only sleeping, buried beneath the hush of the waves. Beneath the weight of salt and centuries, echoes stir in the deep, restless and waiting. Forgotten names, forsaken dreams, lingering like footprints in shifting sands, erased and rewritten with each passing storm. Some chase the ghosts of what was, desperate to stitch together a story undone. Others flee, fearing that to remember is to break. Yet no soul can outrun the tide forever. The current pulls, unyielding, toward an inevitable reckoning. And when the sea finally sings their names once more, will they answer? Or will they, too, fade into the whispers of a world that was never meant to remember them? An arcane odyssey fanfiction
