After the Battle of Hogwarts, the castle was rebuilt and classes resumed as normal. Hermione would have thought she'd have loved to be back and learning, but instead she found herself troublingly preoccupied by the rekindled relationship between Ronald Weasley and Lavender Brown. In a desperate move to make Ron jealous, she entered into partnership with one Draco Malfoy. One whose aim was to fool the school into thinking they were dating and in love.
This just may have been the worst plan ever.
(AU in which: 1. Lavender Brown did not in fact perish after being mauled by a werewolf during the Battle of Hogwarts and 2. Ronald ditched Hermione for his ex.)
