Erin Slater is the average girl you hear about in every bad boy romance novel. Nerdy, wears glasses, ect. However, her mom just died from cancer, so her dad is a wreck. He lays in bed cyring, she does everything she can to help make him comfortable. But is forced to work two jobs. Since she's still in school, she works the night shift, and is late to school everyday.

All of her teachers know, so she's not held accountable. She loves all of her teachers, but the same can't be said about her classmates. She doesn't hate them, she's just not people oriented. The students do get pissed off when she comes in late everyday and gets scott free. Her tiny, tiny group of friends consists of herself, and two very close friends. Emma Stevens, who she met in kindergarten, and Lucas Green, who has had a crush on her the first day they met.

Erin is ecstatic when she finds an ad in the newspaper for a babysitting job that pays twenty dollars an hour. Immediately she calls and gets the job. How's she going to react, when she finds out she's babysitting the daughter of the biggest man whore in school?
