For the second time in as many months, Lonnie Talbert awoke next to the disemboweled remains of some victim of savage violence. He does not understand why this is happening to him, as he also suffers from blackouts. He recalls meeting a strange girl at a local nightclub and realizes that was when all of his problems began.

The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included.
