Words,
  Can do many things,
They wriggle their way in our brains when we are young and stay there.
  They can say horrible things,
And make us want to die.
They can whisper pleasurable sounds in our ears,
and persuade us to do things we usually wouldn't do.

  But.
  They can say wonderful things,
  Like, "I love you,"
  and, "I care."
They slap us in the face, and brush our tears away.
Lift us up and push us down,
  Like waves on the ocean,
  They are friend,
  And foe.
  Our greatest enemy,
  And our best friend.

These words will hopefully help you get through life.
