Over the years Newt Scamander had encountered many a beast, but none quiet like the one he met during his short time at Hogwarts.

To many, she was indeed a beast but to Newt and the Ministry of Magic, her kind was considered just another magical being. One who was regarded with human dignity. 

The fiery Gryffindor quickly befriended the Hufflepuff and his Slytherin friend, and the trio were inseparable.  It was many years after graduating from Hogwarts, after Newt's expulsion and therefore late graduation, that Newt and Sage had ventured the globe in search for beasts of all shapes and sizes.
