Shattered Below is a fanmade Alternate Universe made by Amarad3v for the game Undertale, developed by Toby "Radiation" Fox.
It tells a tale of Frisk, a human child, who stumbled upon the Gates of Judgement in the forests of Mount Ebbott, and their adventures and discoveries. They knew it would be dangerous.. but what they find is truly surprising. After all, monsters only existed in children's tales, didn't they?

"In this world, its kill or be killed" - Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. After the war, the monsters retreated into the deepest part of the Underground, which would be called, "Home." - Note: In chapter one i NICKNAME frisk "Sam" Due to the fact you dont figure out their name until the end of pacifist so i had to put a nickname to make it easier to write and read. Fallen Under is a full-length fan-novel of the game 'Undertale' set in 'Underfell'. This work will not have anything sexually explicit, though there is a (major) gore warning. It is light of heart, but some dark themes including suicide, abuse, and murder are explored. Mt. Ebott is famous for the woods that a child may wander into and never return. In legend, monsters snapped up children from villages, hid in dark corners, and ate the souls of the weak or unprepared. When a young child chooses to flee into the mountain rather than face human capture, they find out that these monsters might not just be characters in old children's stories. Frisk Foster, an eight-year-old child cursed by hereditary blindness, falls into a cavern full of merciless monsters, all of which want nothing more than to steal their soul. Armed with only their sense of justice and kindness, Frisk must travel across the underground to get back home. Yet when faced with the terrible truth of the consequence of their escape, can they truly find the will to complete their mission? You had once had a chance encounter with two skeletons Monsters but to your surprise, both of them were supernatural beings! Quite rare for Monsters to be. Even though you had a hectic meeting with the skeleton brothers, the three of you became quick friends. The vampire skeleton Sans helped you around your shop when he could while his brother Papyrus, a werecat, came around to show off his partners...? Yeah you thought it was a weird way for him to bring you extra customers but highly appreciated! Everything changed when one adorable blue skeleton invited you to a yearly masquerade party and something unlocked inside two skeleton's minds when they saw you getting all nice and comfy with another Monster. They couldn't let their beloved witch be taken away now could they?Complete

With two branches who hate each other merging into one, and a power obsessed person placed in second command, things will definitely get interesting in the Eastern branch.
