17-year-old London native Amy Smith never thought for a second that she could have so much more out of life. She was content to sit in her backyard garden under her white rosebush, avoiding her family and spending time with her unwelcome German-born boyfriend, 18-year-old Andreas Hartmann. However, the year is 1940 and all German citizens in England are being rounded up and hauled off to internment camps. Terrified for his safety, the young lovers flee together, only to be separated by German bomber planes. Amy's only hope to see the love of her life again lies in the hands of a 17-year-old Russian teen named Ivan Kozlov, the mysterious, complex, and seemingly dangerous leader of a network of teenage spies that live in underground tunnels throughout England. But as Ivan gets his hooks deeper and deeper into Amy's heart, she is torn between her loyalty to Andreas and the endless charm that Ivan presents. To make matters worse, all is not well in Ivan’s paradise. She herself is soon caught up in playing a significant role in something that has the potential to destroy all Ivan’s ever lived for. These two seemingly unrelated events soon come together in a most undesirable way, with one very unlucky girl caught in the middle. Amy has a choice to make: Andreas, the man she’s love since she started high school, or Ivan, a very disturbed, lonely boy that desperately needs companionship...

The Life Of A German Soldier by kmcclure109
48 parts Complete
(Still correcting for errors!) The German soldier goes through many things during his time at war, love, horror, and fear. But every soldier of any side knows that there's only one way out. He'll have to survive the new technologies of warfare. A soldier's greatest strength is bravery and moral that grows and lives in the soul. Soldiers test their strength in battle, the strong ones die as the weak ones run. War is an experience that is limited. We all don't know what it's really like. When you look at a soldier that has been at war, you can see it, its written on their faces and engraved in their eyes. A World War Two fiction story about a young man named Albert Schroeder, a twenty one year old German soldier of the Wehrmacht, has been sent to Western Russia to fight the Soviet Union in the summer of June 1944. In military training in Northern Germany, he meets another soldier named Kurt Smith. Kurt has been his friend since military training until his death in a battle against the Soviets during the early night. After Kurt's death, Albert faces many problems with another death of one of Kurt's friends from high school, Ralph Schäfer that he had just met. Albert will then be taken to a place many soldiers of his kind have gone before, a Russian P.O.W camp and might stay there for most of the war until it is over or will Albert try to escape during the night and go on a huge journey back to Germany? (NOTE: THIS STORY IS FOR HISTORICAL PURPOSES ONLY!!!)
Erika- A War torn Love by KellyAlmandChinn
19 parts Complete Mature
Erika is thrown into a war she never asked to be part of nor agrees with. She lives in a family who have already suffered the loss of a mother, a step-mother and now face the loss of land and further life due to war. She is curious, which leads her to see unspeakable events. In the woods she begins to see the true horrors of the war, witnessing the murdering of Jews, and the rounding up of communities. Her best friend is caught and raped by the soldiers which leads her to exact revenge on those responsible. From this day she helps the British and resistance troops in any way she can, leaving food, providing safe passage through the woods and town and helping Jews out of the area. In doing this she meets an English soldier whom she falls in love with. The war however forces them to be parted. As Erika comes of age she joins the Werhmacht. She tries to continue in her efforts not to support the war, but finds this increasingly difficult when she meets a German soldier who sweeps her off her feet. This makes her monetarily question what she has done and is doing. She thinks that she falls in love with him, until he becomes aware of her efforts against the war. Following her failed relationship, she learns her brother has been killed and returns home to relay the news to her father. The war soon ends after this and life begins to return to normal, she goes to a dance and meets Eric again and realises he truly is the one she loves. This book was inspired by stories told to me as a child by my Grandmother, Erika. She died before this book was written, therefore much of the filling information making this into a story is fictional, however the essence of her, the stories she told and the life she lived are the soul of the book.

*COMPLETED* When Rosie turned thirty-one with nothing to show for it, she panicked. Suddenly it felt like her biological clock was ticking, but she didn't want to settle for a man for the sake of having a child. So, after falling down a rabbit hole of research online, she decided to find herself a sperm donor. A strangely vague profile ends up catching her interest. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Rosie locked herself away in Finches tower block, stocked up on supplies from abandoned neighbouring flats, and lived every day with the sole purpose of keeping her daughter alive. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. And he was there to save them. -- When a bioweapon was released on UK soil, Staff Sergeant Levi James Brackley was sent from pillar to post in an attempt to help neutralise and contain. Once it was clear neither was possible the last resort was to form a safe zone on the Isle of Wight. Levi decided to stay behind. The last evac chopper left without him on board. He knew it was a shot in the dark, that they were probably dead already, but he had to try. Without knowing it, they'd become a beacon of light during the darkest time of his life. Now it was his turn to be there's.

Avaline Baker is a young woman on a camping trip with friends when she decides to go into a museum that will change her life forever. Somehow transported into the future, Ava finds herself at the barrel tip of Nazi German soldier. Transported to their camp as prisoner, Ava is lost and confused as to what, where, and who she is with...the how part is the most antagonizing. Shortly after being saved by two American men, Ava discovers she's been placed at the center of World War Two. Surrounded by warfare and American men who have strict mindsets about women in the the 1940's, the 21-year-old feels like she has no hope of surviving. To even have a chance, Ava has to prove that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she isn't capable of fighting to survive like the rest of them. Ava finds herself stuck in 1944, with "strange" technology called a cell phone, no way of charging it, and no way of getting home. In the midst of a gruesome and horrifying war, she finds herself questioning more than just sanity of the time period, but even her own. Hopefully, with careful and calculating steps, Ava will survive the blistering cold winters, the first-hand experience of a war, and developing a difficult bond with the men of 1st Platoon. --•--•--•-- This is a work of fan-fiction, which means I don't own practically anything. Except for Aveline Baker and some scenes. Will be based off of/follow the campaign. This work has content pertaining to difficult aspects of WW2 including blood and gore; swearing/harsh language; sexual/crude comments and actions; German POW camps; etc. Please DO NOT READ if you aren't comfortable or have too strong opinions on things related to WW2. It's a fictional story and, thus, should be treated like it. On flip side, there will humor. Especially from Zussman- we all like him. And don't forget moments from hardass Pierson...those will get interesting too. ;) ~Started on September 1st, 2018~ ~Finished September 1st, 2019~
