spirit catcher

"Tell me about the monsters. Tell me about the spirit catcher."
"You know the elders know the stories better. Ask them."
"I do. But I want you to tell me. You're better at it."
I placed a kiss on her hair.
"Then I will tell you the tale of the spirit catcher."

This short story was originally an idea about a creature that I had to come up with for a contest. I decided to make a little story instead.
