Casey and her friends weren't born in a hospital. They've lived on the streets almost their entire life, not knowing parents or where their next meal was going to come from. There are no records of them existing. So how is it that mail comes for them, dropped at the doors of the abandoned supermarket they're staying at, inviting them to a school for people such as themselves? People who have powers.
Casey is hesitant to attend the school, something deep inside her tells her that it's a horrible idea. But her eagerness for an education overpowers this feeling and she blames it on anxiety. Besides, none of the others have this feeling.
But was this the wrong choice? The school is more than pleasant when they arrive; the teachers are wonderful and their classmates are intriguing. Yet, as time goes on, Casey's anxiety grows and she's proving to be more and more prophetic. Is the school hiding something or is she just overreacting to finally having some sense of stability?

(((A/N the title may change, I just needed a new one from my 8th grade self's original. And this description is super rough, I just needed to start putting what I have of my work up. This one is at least 5 years old and I've been heavily editing it)))
