Hinata Shouyou is accompanying a friend from school when an unfortunate accident lands him in critical condition and requiring an organ transplant. Luckily, he isn't the only one part of the accident, so the other victims' organs are transplanted, saving Hinata's life. Unluckily, the other victim wasn't exactly human. Now a rare and hunted one-eyed ghoul, Hinata tries to keep up with a normal school life and his passion, volleyball. But he can't hide his scent forever...
