COMPLETED ✓ (edited 26th February 2023) Many teenagers deal with peer problems and social anxiety; well, there you meet Sage Parker. Not your very typical, but typical 17 year-old. She didn't have a problem with that; she loves being alone, enjoying binge-ing TV shows, finishing an entire can of Ben&Jerry's by herself and, sometimes, calling her only best friend to chat. One day, a new boy transfers into her school. He's distant, cold and sometimes even funny. There's Max Bordel, reuniting with his long lost friend group, finding a job at a local diner and making harmless pranks. Have you ever liked some guy that is popular, attractive and yet annoying, rude, mean at the same time? I'm sure nearly every girl has. Mikasa your typical girl who likes this really hot guy in her class but doesn't have the confidence to confess to him. Typical, isn't it? But don't think that they'll end up falling in love, that's too cliche. Instead it's going to be a whole twist and turn of events for this girl when she meets a boy called Alex whom she 'befriends.' Alex is the whole opposite of who Mikasa likes. Although, she becomes quite close to him, telling him her crush and him encouraging her and helping her out. Will spending time together bring them closer than just friends? A story that is nothing more closer to reality.
