Percy looked into the window. A girl sat in the library, reading. A stack of books rested to her left, and a bag on her right. She wore jeans, high top converse, and a grey shirt that said "Mondays Suck" in black writing. Her hand was covered with black pen designs she had made.

"So... She's turning thirteen in a week or so, and no one has come to take her to camp yet?"
