Eros Everdeen was chosen by district 12 to step in for the role of male tribute in the 25th hunger games, he has no doubt that he shall win if he can withstand his weakness. His special abilities tilt the advantage ever further for him to win but will his vow to not kill make him have a disadvantage with the unusual twist to the quarter quell or will he succeed with the survival and manage to come out alive even when not killing a single person?

The day of the Second Annual Quarter Quell. The 50th Hunger Games. It was a day that would change the life of 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy forever. Twice the number of usual tributes were chosen; 4 from each district, and Haymitch had been one of those unlucky 4. The odds had not been in his favor that year, but he had a reason to fight; for his loved ones, for the glory of District 12. Despite his circumstances, Haymitch remained somewhat optimistic about his chances of victory, promising his family that he would never back down no matter what happens to him in that arena. Throughout his journey he will make choices beyond anything he could have imagined, and make mistakes that are irreversible-especially in the Capitols eyes. But he does it all out of spite, because he had the heart and mind of a victor, even from the very beginning.
