Science Fiction
It's the 22nd century and the scientists of the New Life Investigation Laboratories have achieved the modification of Human DNA to create supposed super humans. When they are 16, they will be sold to the highest bidder for use as soldiers, spies or slaves, depending on the Buyer. The BOIs (Biologically original investigations) are worth millions, and are kept under the highest of security. Storm has just turned 14 and craves freedom from the laboratory. She hates the way she is regarded as non-human and called 'it' or 'the specimen'. Storm's abilities surpass what her creators think, and she is worth Billions. Little does she know that there are people out there that would do anything for that kind of money. It is for this reason she is under level 5 security. Swept away to Australia after a botched escape attempt, she and her fellow bois find their purpose in life. Perhaps, something more.

Ever thought surviving first period-and facing her best friend's boyfriend, whom she recently kissed-would be the hardest part of her day. She was wrong. The world is ending. Literally. Between dodging awkward hallway interactions with her best friend's boyfriend and dodging the apocalypse, Ever discovers she may be the one person capable of saving mankind. No pressure, right? But just when she's barely wrapping her head around her destiny, a mysterious (and annoyingly handsome) stranger shows up. He drives her crazy, yet somehow feels...familiar. And he just might hold the key to unlocking Ever's forgotten past and to stopping the strange, earth-shattering events unraveling the future. As secrets unfold and loyalties are tested, Ever has to make a choice: walk away from the chaos and pretend the world isn't ending or embrace her destiny and risk everything to save it. After all, being a teenager is hard. Being the savior of humanity? That's a whole new level. *This is book one in a series
