My mother is marrying Paul Stanley

Emily Lillie Wright is like your everyday teenager, she's top of the class, loves anything Kiss, plays guitar, piano and drums, she can sing and she is in a Kiss cover band called Black Diamond, when her mother gets engaged to Paul Stanley, Emily refuses to leave her band and college, she puts up a fight when Tommy and Eric have to restrain her, Paul uses a tranquiliser on Emily, when Emily wakes up, she's told she's in Queens, New York, and she's not going back to England, Emily refuses to talk or even acknowledge her mother although she does make small talk with her soon-to-be stepfather.
