Kendall Turner is just an ordinary teenage girl. That is until her parents separate leaving her mother depressed and alcohol as her remedy. She and her little brother soon have to learn how to fend for themselves in the cold, harsh world. Kendall meets a guy, named Gerald, who turns her not so perfect world  into an even more complicated situation. Lethal emotions begin to evolve between the two that gives Kendall a break from her toxic life at home. Will Kendalls perspective on the world change and everything turns back to normal? Or will things only get worse leaving Kendall becoming the bad girl nobody never saw coming?
