"What happened?" she said, her eyes going wide, lips twitching upwards. "Tell me !"

"Love, that's what happened." I whispered, with a small smile on my face.

Olivia Summers, a normal 17 year old girl, who went to a normal high school with normal stereotypes, living a normal life, or so she thought.

Being an orphan from birth, Olivia never knew what love felt like. Living with a self-centered aunt, who thought of no one but herself and having been through an abusive relationship was normal for her.
Not standing up for herself was normal for her, always feeling a misfit, an outcast was normal for her.

All Olivia ever wanted was to get out of high school anyhow and attend a college, far away from this life she had. The Only thing in her way was her Senior year and memories of her rather dark past.

Life had given her so much disappointment and rejection on every turn, that she lost hope. Hope in love, faith and even happiness.
She started to believe that maybe happiness was never meant for her.
She created walls around her, not because she gave up, but to see who cared enough to break them down.

Almost all of her hope was lost until she crossed paths with Blake McCarthy. The new boy in Hassington High.
