Kara's older brother died before she was born, her dad died when she was two, but thankfully, she still has her mother. She has two best friends, and loves them both to death. She would never want to part with anyone in her life so far. Which is why when her life changes, she isn't very excited.
She goes on an adventure, finds love, and discovers dark things are brewing- all while she's in the middle of it.

I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. Something caught my eye and when I looked up in the mirror I saw Rykan stepping inside, shutting the door and sliding the lock in place. My heart hammered in my chest as he approached me. He came right up behind me, setting his hands on my hips, never breaking our gaze through the mirror. "Kora," he murmured, stepping closer until my back brushed against his chest.
