Warmth. I yearned for it, I felt as though I needed it. But the person I wanted it the most from, never gave it to me. My heart had been under her control. She teased it, she broke it. Maybe I was too soft, maybe I let my heart be that sensitive. Maybe I forced it to want warmth. It was as if I was desperate for someone to come into my life and stitch the cut that was on my heart. I had always ignored the fact that my body was starving for warmth. That is until Emily had popped up into my life.

14 year old Aiden Caverly and 17 year old Emily Danvers start a new school year off with volleyball. As a freshman, Aiden desperately wanted to make it onto the varsity team to play with Emily: a senior who's been on the team for all four years of high school. Even with Emily at 5'11 & Aiden at 5'3, they actually make a pretty good duo. With drama, family, friends, school, and intense volleyball games; will the two varsity players find each other more than just partners on the court?
