Opal's parents are the government's military engineers, responsible for improving the artificial intelligence, called armorers, that Palaac had replaced soldiers with two centuries ago. They are smart, fairly independent...... And failing. Palaac is losing the war with neighboring country Jessapal. Opal's parents send her and her brother Paul to live with the armers for two years to find out what is wrong with them, and report back so her parents can fix the problem. If Opal fails, the government may get rid of her parents, permanently.

Reneta, a eighteen year girl and her friends are taken from their homes, well camp and put on a Yautja ship. But you see... Reneta and her 'friends' aren't just any normal humans. Nope. Once this is discovered by the Yautja's, the prince takes Reneta as his personal servant or slave as she likes to view it. Will she have the power to thaw out his icy heart, or will she fail and pay the price? You'll just have to wait and see. --Just so everyone knows. I do not own predators or the aliens.
