I love the kids. I will always be a father to them. Maybe, after this Elliot will hate me and Layla will grow up wondering where I've gone. But I want to stay in their lives. Let me tell you what this is about. I've met someone. I've fallen in love.
OK so basically my friend gave me this prompt and it was "write the letter a man would give his wife when he leaves her for another man" and that was some of the letter. So this whole thing kind of grew into this whole story. and i'm putting it on her so others can enjoy. :)

THE AFTERMATH

"Then can I move schools? Attend your boarding school?" He was silent, then let out a long sigh of defeat. "I'll enroll you now. Pack your things, I'll send a car in the morning for you." That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out. "Daddy don't go" my little girl cried while hugging my leg "Yeah daddy we'll miss you don't go" her twin said hugging my other leg.
