Some days I wonder how it feels to be loved, how to be happy, to be free. I could never find that single spark in my soul, in my heart. How could I find it? What if I never did? Can I, will I have a friend?  When I find a hiden trial out in the forest, I know I had to take the chance grab it, run. I never saw something so beautiful, that made me want to.....well I'm not sure. But it sure was something I would never forget. Something that made me happy. My dreams, a friend, a family, a home. Since I've first seen her in my forest that first day I couldn't look away I couldn't stop thinking about her but I still wonder why I saved her I'm supposed to be hiding who I am but for some reason when it came to her I didn't care if she saw me or not. I sometimes wonder if she's my soul mate but I'm not going think about it cause soul mates don't exist not when your a half breed. I remember when I saw him he was beautiful and to top it off he saved me from freezing now he's the only one I think about the only one I want to be around sometimes I wonder if we were meant to be lovers, i'm obsessed with him and I don't know why and I'm not saying though three words they don't exisit not really but that's all starting to change as we together more and more.

Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." (All credit goes to my sister, who wrote this when she was in the twelfth grade)

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?"
