We all know the story of how Hades's kidnapped Persephone from her mother and his sister Demeter, brought her to the Underworld and tricked her by eating a Pomegranate that forces her to spend half the year in the Underworld with him. While Persephone may have been reluctant to be with the King of The Underworld at first, she slowly grew to love it and her husband. Hades being the most hated God received a curse from Persephone father, Zeus, that any child Hades and Persephone had together would destroy the world as we know it. Neglecting to tell his young wife this Persephone becomes pregnant. Excited to tell her husband about the news when she gets back to the underworld, her mother let's her know of the curse that Zeus has put on the child. Demeter urges her to be rid of the child, but Persephone, Goddess of Fertility denies the request and hides her pregnancy from all. Once Persephone has the child Zeus and Hades find out, so she asks Athena and Aphrodite for protection of the beautiful little girl. They counteract the little girls curse by providing the girl with a future love so strong, it will kill the darkness inside of her. This is the story of that girl, Helena, Daughter Of Hades.Concluida

The gods of the ancient Mediterranean Sea, find themselves cornered when their predecessors return from the farthest depths of the underworld. Now cornered, the deities rely on the few remaining demi-gods to defend the world against its usurpers. I wrote this story back in 2012, when I was still in grade 10, with the intention of one day publishing it. However, with the release of the Percy Jackson series, my dreams of publishing this story shattered. My writing career then transitioned into a lot more writing and experiencing life, which means when I look back on this story, I look back on it with pride.
