Ursula after a century of exile from Atlantis and hiding in the bones of a Serpentine creature, She has no one to keep her company except her trusty sidekick eels Flotsom and Jetsom and powerful abilities that would put King Triton to shame and the unfortunate souls she's fooled. One day while observing the humans of the land above she catches the sight of the young and attractive Prince Eric. She soon grows obsessed with him even though a curse turned her skin a sickly shade of purple with six tentacles to match. The problem? Ariel, the little mermaid responsible for her exile and the mermaid with most beautiful voice in the sea finds herself enamoured with the prince as well.
