Apathetic:
Void of feeling; not susceptible of deep emotion; passionless; indifferent.

Art by: kiriririririri

(Douma's a human instead a demon. His mom's name will be Aiko and his dad will be Kazue. Not official)

He couldn't "feel" of what you call "emotions". Even in his very small age. Which normally children will be full of them as they easily express themselves but not for Douma. Although, he has heard of them, he doesn't know what it's like to have such things inside of you. Or even understand them. He doesn't even try since he doesn't see the value of them. Or why they exists. Or if they are. He pretends to have them with false friendly personality and a false cheery side. He doesn't even receive what you call "affections" from his own parents. Though he doesn't care. They're too busy grooming him into the religious leader of the Paradise Faith cult. They focus on making him the true founder who is gifted with his magnificent eyes from the Gods. Since they believed he can hear the voice of Gods rather than giving him "love" which is such a weird term to him. They're making him carry such responsibilities of hearing people's burden. He doesn't mind of course. The fact he has to pretend to even care about his followers' boring "sob" stories. Especially when they don't accept something so simple.

"Once they die, it's all just gonna return to nothing. They won't feel anything."

That's what he truly believes.

"And then they rot into the ground. As long as you live on this Earth, that's your eternal fate."

But he also believes he would help them.

To make them happy.

To have them to be a part of him.

However that changed when he met a pretty but naive girl by the river in the deep woods.

He honestly thought she was pretty stupid.

But.

He couldn't help to enjoyed being around her.

To the point, he actually feels.

How long will this last?

Is this okay?

It's starting to change his thoughts about reality and himself.

The Fates and their mother Ananke are cruel mistresses. They had given Izuku a cruel and unfortunate fate. Even as a young child his life was nothing to envy, being treated as a slave by his own mother and stepfather. He learned that life only brings misery the longer you live at a young age. All because of the misfortune brought upon him from being born a demigod with the fate of the world in his hands. As such he envied everyone with a better life them him. For example, his twin sister, Izumi Yagi. Everything and I mean everything he had ever wanted she had been given on a silver platter. She didn't know pain, she didn't struggle, she had a quirk. All she knew was a life filled with comfort and unconditional love while he experienced hell in every sense of the word. While she was trained as a hero he was trained as an assassin by the most wanted group in the world. She had everything Izuku ever and continues to desire. Except for her brainless mind. They say too much power makes you brainless, but Izuku would find out that it was only if you relied on it. He had soon found out he had power greater and more versatile than his sister. However, he knew he didn't need it. After all, with his mind, who needs the amount of power he wields. Some may say he is a genius, and he is, but who said even a genius didn't struggle for their position. Who said they didn't suffer the most? Who said they didn't struggle for the power...for the knowledge they wield? Whoever did is wrong, because those geniuses and their lives would drive the average being insane with grief, paranoia, or simply just insanity. This is the story of one such genius.

"So tell me, Aoi - tell me, why do you, a person who doesn't even want to lift a sword, can make a strong man like me feel sick and weak without you?" "You annoy me, kiss me when you're not supposed to and always steal food. But you broke my walls down and made me fall, real hard, in love with you too." Inosuke is a short-tempered young man who grew up in the mountains. He learned about affection and love through his two best friends, Tanjiro and Zenitsu. The women he cared for in his life are dead. Aoi survived the Final Selection, but she thinks of herself as weak and incapable to defeat demons. In turn, she becomes a helper at the Butterfly Mansion and is always attending to the sick and injured. As he spends more time in the Butterfly Mansion, waiting for his best friends to wake up, Inosuke realizes that he gets drawn to Aoi. How is that possible? They fight all the time. "What are you looking at?" Aoi growls. "I use my eyes to look at whatever I want!" Later, seeing Kanao getting together with Tanjiro and Nezuko falling in love with Zenitsu; sometimes Inosuke wonders if a strong man like him doesn't need a woman. He is wrong. He isn't immune to love. Warning: Slow-burn romance. I depict realistic circumstances related to the age of characters, historical period and their respective personalities. [p/s: This story takes place after the defeat of Muzan. The male main characters and the girls are already seventeen. The universe is still exclusively following the manga/anime. Non-manga readers, you have been warned]

The bandages that covered his face in life have fallen away, all incinerated and hanging loosely around his neck. His face is completely destroyed. Unrecognizable. The skin covering his face is no longer there, all having melted away. His blood vessels have all burst, his nerves have fried along with the majority of his muscles. His jaw opens and closes a little bit. His eyes bore into me. They're large and round and completely accusing. His teeth are covered in bits of burnt muscle. I feel my heart thudding in my chest. He steps closer, closer. His bone gleams in the dim light. As he closes in on me, a pounding noise begins ringing through my ears. My heart beat- ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum. It looked like he had been tossed into a fryer, fried alive, and he had been. By me. I did this to someone. I killed someone's team mate, someone's son. I killed someone's important person. -- Kimiko Kioku, a memory keeper. Never forgets anything, always notices, from the exact way the wind blew her hair against her face to coloring with her brother at five to the lullaby her mother would sing to her as she rocked her when she was not even a year old. She remembers. She remembers the blood, the glassy, clouded over eyes her brother had as he said his last words. She remembers the very first person she killed. She remembers how abandoned she feels, and how everything always feels like it's falling apart at the seams. (Can you say 'worst summary ever to exist'? Okay, maybe not that bad. But still pretty bad.)

"This is completely idiotic...he's Kokushibo. His purpose is to serve me and to listen to my orders. My purpose is to give him orders and enforce them. Never should those two paths cross, never should I fall for my minions, never should my minions fall for me. Well, it's too late for that, huh..." ... Muzan Kibutsuji and Kokushibo (Tsugikuni) are business partners. For the past 1,000 years it has stayed that way. Muan gives out orders, and Kokushibo follows them like the puppy he is. They're supposed to be business partners; they're supposed to have that intimate relationship that other acquaintances do. But the two have never truly had a real conversation. And while Muzan figured it was just him scaring the living hell out of Kokushibo, the upper moon had significantly different thoughts running through his mind. Every time he tries to converse with his master, Kokushibo is faced with an intensive feeling that acts as almost a force field that prevents him from talking with Muzan. His palms get sweaty, his knees weak, his throat dry, and his heart starts going a kilometer a minute at the mere sight of his boss. What is this feeling? Could it just be the severity of Muzan's presence, or is there perhaps something more emotional going on that is causing this boundary... This is not a slow-burn!! It doesn't take long for much to happen. I know that's boring but i'd say its pretty worth it? Warning!!!: this story also has Akaza x Douma and Gyokko x Gyutaro. Why? I completely ship Akaza and Douma as well and I needed something for the support characters to do. What about Gyutaro and Gyokko? That's not a ship that I personally support, but again; it's EXTREMELY minor and is just a side story for the sake of it (I needed a break from Kokuzan for a bit and that's where my mind was) Angst, fluff, smut, everything you'd want in a BL--a demon BL, at that. :)
