The year is 2023, and the Cold War happened again, it was a complete and utter annihilation for both sides. The world is a freezing carcass of it's previous glory, their are three ruling factions, The Alliance Of Russian Communist's (U.R.C) The United Nation's Of The West (U.N.W) and The Righteous Church Of The Mundane (R.C.M). There are a few small factions of bandits, and mercenaries, but they're only for hire, or to work with. While the Surface is barren, much of the metro is populated by humanity... or what's left of it.
