People with Colored Eyes tend to have an amazing life with the ones they love, unless your living in Japan, where almost the entire population of people were killed from a virus that was released by the vampires. Yuu and his sort-of adopted brother Shiho decide to become members of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, where they can avenge the deaths of all the innocent citizens of Japan. Yuu ends up getting separated from Shiho while in battle and gets injuried. The freakiest part about this situation is that a vampire named Mikaela helps Yuu recover from his injuries. As Yuu began to secretly meet Mikaela during the night, he notices that the world around him began to change-- he could see Color.
