Alex Jacobson is all that I could ever want and need.
My best friend since we were twelve years old.
He was my first love, even when I didn't know it.
My first heartbreak, but we said it was forever.
Until he disappeared. When I was eighteen.
Without a trace, nothing.
Five years on and I still haven't heard anything, until now.
He's back in town.
The moment I was waiting for, though the man I see is slightly different. Deadly but so incredibly beautiful.
Oh, and also, he doesn't remember me.
He stares at me with blank eyes, a void of emptiness.
As if I was a stranger.
As if he has never seen me before.
Nothing.
And my heart slowly cracks.
I remember all too well what I had experienced... I didn't want to go through it again
So I let him believe that I don't know him either.
But all secrets can't go on forever....
Eventually, he'll find out.
But I just don't know if I'm ready for it.

"..We.. The future Alpha and Luna of The Parevin dark moon pack, hereby, in the presence of the moon goddess..., reject you as our mate.." Syren saw not a hint of sadness in their eyes, his two former best friends, as he was slowly ripped out of the bond that had never even existed. He felt his body spasm in pain, but he remained stiff by face as slowly, the negligible connections that he had felt with his mates, were taken out and away from him. His face had showed not a hint of pain, but that one fúcking tear that slid down his cheek betrayed him..and he watched as Sebastian clutched Alexander's arm tightly, as if taunting him on how he would never be able to experience anything positive..as if all his life, He was to remain all alone. Syran knew this would happen, but that didn't mean he wasn't affected..Yet he was Strong all alone, and that loneliness was perfect for him.. ...To say that the story of the three best friends ended up like this, was a huge shock for all who had known them at all. The three had been inseparable, always together with a promise of never being separated...but as time passed by, deep cracks developed in their relation. Life is not always all about Flowers and Rainbows, and Syren may or may not have realized it a bit too early.... The story includes serious issues such as trauma, assault, self-hatred and depictions of abuse. You are to continue reading on your own consent..No hate will be tolerated. - A.K Kaur..

❝I was crazy in love, and love makes you do crazy things.❞ "So, does that mean if I-if I kissed you tonight, you wouldn't feel a thing?" Emily barely reacted, focused on trimming her nails, but his question jolted her enough that she almost nicked herself. Without looking up, she replied, "No." Then, with a sharp breath and a smile, she met his eyes. "Absolutely not." ~*~ Liam Wyatt never had the life of an ordinary boy. Between his absent parents, a wildly popular twin, and an even more famous best friend, he always felt like the one who had to keep everything in order-even when nothing was. But despite all of that, he loved his life for what it was, imperfections and all. There was just one thing he wished he could change: the way his heart raced every time he saw Emily, his best friend, look at her girlfriend. He wished, late at night when no one was around to notice, that she would one day look at him that way. But Liam wasn't selfish-her happiness always came first, even if it meant pushing his own feelings aside. What We Fake explores the tender and raw complexities of unrequited love, self-identity, and the things we hide from the world-and from ourselves. In a world where we think we know ourselves best, sometimes, we're the ones wearing the best disguise.
