Alex Makalister is a teen girl who was forced to drop out of school by her mom. She is the second daughter of four. Her life is getting out of control and she feels like there is no way out until she sees her little sister again. She makes her realize that she needs to take control of the wheel and stand up to her mom. It's the only way to be able to see her little sister regularly and keep her rude foster mom away since she's been taken away. Will she be able to stand up to her mom and see her sister again for Christmas or will she give up and go back to the dark path she's on?
