Shy little Petra had never been invited to a party in her entire life. Not a birthday party as a kid. Not a high school party or a college frat party. And certainly not a Christmas work party. But there is always time for a first, and in fact, this night would be a lot of firsts for her. But how could she turn down the NYPD chief, Nicholas Andrews? She had worked for hard for her position as a call dispatcher in the police department and she couldn't lose it now. If only she knew what she was getting herself into.
