"EUNICE!" I screamed, spotting her face among the others. Yet as soon as I spoke, a large, metal scythe flashed out of nowhere and cut her into bits, throwing her onto the pile of corpses at the foot of the wall. The beggars hunched over the meat and began to feast hungrily, blood now lining their face like sick war paint. I was screaming, make it stop, make it stop, make it STOP! Yet the vision was still going on, and my hand was frozen, and it couldn't move to close the curtains. I began to cry, my tears tasting terrible and disgusting as they dripped into my mouth. I hunched over on my knees and begged for the world to stop rotating, begged for my life to end, begged for the angel to come and save us, begged for the angel, begged for the angel.

Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there. Hi, a lot of people wouldn't care to hear my story and even my care ti hear name but if your still reading this well You might well..... Could say care. Well to start off my name is Anna robin, and I live in Melbourne near the city, my mum and dad died in a car crash when I was seven. I'm sixteen now and live with my abusive and alcoholic uncle Jerry. When ever he gets home from the pub or his friends house he comes home all drunk and can get very abusive that's why I have all these bruises and cuts on my body that leave scares. I was ten years old when he started to abuse he got home all drunk an- "Anna get your slutty ass down here now" yep well That's my caring loving uncle note the sarcasm. I got up from my bed a shoot of pain went down my body from the previous beating he gave me the night before, I glanced at the alarm clock and read 3:47, yep that's my uncle goes and comes back late really drunk. I walked down the wooden stairs to my uncle to received the regular beating only this time with a whip!! "Aww is Annaaa scared??" He slurred "WHAT!?! Are you crazy you gonna kill me" I partially yelled I was quite proud of myself that's the first time I stood up to him! I felt his hand connect with my check in a matter in seconds and made me go straight to the floor, then he stared to kick me numerous which made me whine in pain and became more unbearable. Then he brought out the whip and whipped me uncountable times and started to see black spots in my vision and the last whip that I remember I blacked out and darkness took over. I felt tingles in my feet and arms and struggled to even open my eyes it felt like they were stuck down with super glue. I tried to open my eyes and finally seceded, my vision was all blurry from being passed out and crying. I blinked a couple of times to gain my original eyesight back. I hear the clanking of metal loud and rigid from behind me, I feel the wind rush past as I sprint, they are still chasing me. I'll be honest I don't know what to do, quite frankly it's hard to think straight right now. I feel my body shutting down as the adrenaline is losing its punch, I can't run any faster. I'm always running, they are always chasing me. I don't even know why they chase me, I don't know what I did and like them they won't say. Do they even know? Am I just unlucky? Someone they picked at random to be the new subject of there torture? I wont let it happen. That's why I'll stay free, never fully contained. I think about the one I love, Charlie. I don't know where he is, I don't even know if he is safe. "Hey! Weapon down sarge, we don't want to kill her!" A guard's shout smacks me out of my train of thought. By this point I've gained some distance due to them having heavy armour. This stops me in my tracks though, I hear the guards slow down too. I stop, I realise, they want me alive. They aren't going to kill me, they don't want me dead. I have a gun, if I just point it at myself what are they going to do? I turn around and I look at all of the guards who have stopped in their tracks heaving in confusion. It's silent, even the wind is merely a whisper, all that can be heard is the panting of everyone on scene. They want me alive, they want me alive. I turn around, towards my chasers. I notice the guards straighten as I do so, instinctively I hold my gun to my neck, one bullet left, not enough for all of them but enough to kill me. They don't want me dead. I look to see all of them freeze in shock before one of the guards takes a step forward. I can't see their face, I can't see anyone's face but I feel like I need to know who this is. Before I can react they raise their gun and shoot. Pain explodes in my leg and I fall, all that running, for nothing. All I see now is black, I can't hear everything but I still feel conscious.
Abduction
I walked into the kitchen and the window was open "strange" I said out loud then from behind me some one strong grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth. I let out a muffled cry and elbowed him in the groin and sprinted to my room. I shoved the objects on my floor to the side and hide under my bed. I started to breath heavily, I pulled my hair out of my face and started to cry quietly under my bed "I'm gonna die" I whispered to myself, then I get a call from my friend Cher "why know?" I say. I picked up the call. "hey" she shouts down the phone "shhh be quiet look, someone tried to grab me in the kitchen" "is this one of your jokes then this is not funny" "no I'm being serious. Oh god I can hear them" "what" "three men one woman, I think. Look call the police" "you" "I can't. Oh my god there near my room" "Yvonne don't panicked-" I felt someone touch my ankles then I screamed out loud so hopefully someone could hear me. They pulled me out from under the bed my attackers had black masks on over their face. One was tall and beefy, one was tall and slim, one had long broad shoulders and the other one was muscular and tall. The beefy one raised his hand and slapped me across the face. I felt the hot shearing pain spread across my face and on my red cheek, I let a tear escape then my vision started to go blurry when they put a cloth across my mouth then darkness.Completa

"Will you just shut up" !!!!! I shouted loudly turning towards her ,she was literally getting on my nerves now "Don't you dare shout at me...You brought me into this mess", She shouted equally loudly at me The pitch of her voice was shattering my eardrums and I was on the verge of literally killing her now.She was so tiny yet hell annoying The bulb to the patience area in my mind suddenly got switched off and I abruptly pushed her into the alley wall bringing our faces real close to both our comfort levels "Listen to me you little brat and listen good...My fuckin patience is hanging on a thin thread so if you want your annoying little self to stay alive and might I add in one piece I suggest you shut your filthy shithole" I whispered in her ear lowly making her shiver knowing already that no doubt the shiver came purely from the fear she felt from me and not anything sexual..Good....She should fear me I wasn't the one to be trusted I wasn't the one to be loved I am not a person you should take lightly I am the one you don't want to mess with I am the one you don't want to piss off if you don't want your existence to be utterly painful I am Dominick Slade And I am The Outcast......Completa
The Plague
Sweat trailed down her back as she ran with all her might. Blood slowly flowed out the long cut in her thigh. Loud snarls could be heard from behind her as the inhuman beings chased her with unimaginable speed. She couldn't scream, she was afraid and no one could help her. All she could do was cry. She bared the pain shooting through her limbs. Thick darkness surrounded her under the moonless sky and she found herself tumbling down a hill. She felt a snap and hit her head as she rolled to a stop at the bottom of the hill. Everywhere hurt. She tried moving but couldn't bare it. She cried more and groaned as her life flashed before her eyes. Then, everywhere was suddenly quiet. She breathed hard in fear. Just when she started getting a little hope, something sharply dug its fingers into her hand and a loud deafening shriek was heard, followed by an ear piercing scream...Completa
The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. That's why they call me: Death -----------------------------------------************************************--------------------------------------------- Death. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. She lived in this hell hole, where they take her to rooms. Examine. Fight. She knows she won't be able to entertain them for long. She decides to run. Soul. Brown hair as mud, blue eyes as the sky. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least. He's been there for her, ever since she entered this place of crap. They're the two most feared. As some people say, they're a perfect couple. Killing. Fighting. Cold hearted creatures. "Let's get her out of here," Gabby's voice came from behind me. "Good idea," said Julie. "Cameron, why don't you go get the headmistress and show her what we've found here. Layla, Brianna, Julie, and I will go back to your dorm room and wait for you to return," said Gabby. "Sarah, where is Sarah?" I asked not hearing her voice. Several small whimpers gave me my answer. I looked back up at the female body and saw Sarah's face clearly for the first time.
