Ems is the name. Being human is my game.
Most girls in outcast stories seems to be the kind with dark pasts, mega secrets, scandals, or even experiencing an accident that changes their life. At least that's what I've read from human libraries.
I'm the only human in a world of monsters and mythical creatures. But what makes this even more complicated is that my parents are some of the most powerful and scariest type of monsters and creatures in existence. It doesn't make any sense! Creature plus creature equals ... human? Crazy.
But it seems I might be able to find an answer to that as it seems there's a group of people after me now. People with a strange symbol I swear I've seen before during my childhood. And ever since I saw that symbol it seems even my own mother has changed in attitude and my dad has been away from home longer than usual!
What will I do? Should I delve deeper into this mystery? Knowing that me, a human, will have to go up against other monsters? Maybe I'll even make some friends or even find something else?
Whatever happens, it better not be as bad as I feel it's going. But sadly, things never seems to be easy or go my way. And it's not gonna start now either.

I am 16 years old and finally will have a life out the home I have know for so long. I will be going to a school. The leaders of our city will be picking which school I fit in. Except these school aren't what they seem to the naked eye. They involve monsters no one ever thought real. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and Shape-shifters. How can I survive learning about these things daily for my whole life?! But, the thing is I won't be learning about them to just...learn. I will be finding out about these creatures because...I am one. New friendships brew while enemies start to boil. Some friends become more than friends. Then some turn on her. She's different. Waking up on the edge of a cliff in an unknown world wasn't part of the plan. Neither was having absolutely no memory of how I got here. But here I am-confused, probably high, and screaming into the void. Ever since I could remember my parents have always said I'm special,not the your great at sports special or the just because you can not make friends special but the your the only hybrid special. I started showing sighs of magic at a young age after my first shift. Since I am the first of my kind, I have trouble controlling my powers and my parents have always warned me to never let that happen because it would cause others to want to use it against me or for evil.
